1. Who We Are

Swagger Soccer Academy ("we," "us," "our") provides a team management application (the "App") for youth and competitive soccer coaches, including roster management, live game tracking, and related features. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and (if you choose email/password sign-up) a password, which is never stored in plain text. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by Google — we do not receive your Google password.

Team and roster information. Coaches, managers, and other team staff may enter information about players, including name, jersey number, position, and (optionally) birthdate. This information is entered by team staff, not collected directly from players.

Game data. Substitutions, goals, cards, playing time, notes, and similar records generated during game use.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy and security practices.

Location information. If you save a game location (field/venue), we store the name and address you provide. We do not track your device's real-time location.

Device and usage information. Basic technical data (device type, app version, theme preference) needed to operate the App.

3. Children's Information

Our App is designed for use by coaches, managers, and parents/guardians — not directly by children. Player information (such as a child's name and jersey number) is entered into the App by an adult team representative, not collected by us directly from the child.

If in the future the App allows players themselves to create accounts, we will implement age-appropriate consent mechanisms consistent with applicable law (including COPPA in the United States) before enabling that feature for users under 13. Parents/guardians who believe their child's information has been provided to us inappropriately may contact us at the email above to request review or deletion.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Operate and maintain the App's features (roster management, live game tracking, statistics)

• Process subscription payments

• Communicate with you about your account or the App

• Improve and troubleshoot the App

• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use player or team data for advertising.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:

We do not share data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) using industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections and role-based access controls limiting data access to your own team. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is designed to work offline; game data may be temporarily stored on your device before syncing to our servers once a connection is available.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

• Access or correct your account information within the App

• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

• Request a copy of data associated with your account

We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Data Retention

We retain account and team data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App's features (e.g., season-over-season statistics). You may request deletion at any time, subject to any legal retention obligations.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to users directly where required by law.
